Axie Infinity on Forbes
As per usual, Axie Infinity grabbed some headlines. Forbes featured an article on the popular play-to-earn game titled “Metaverse Heats Up: How Axie Infinity’s $3B Valuation Led Crypto Game Frenzy.” The article takes a look at metaverse-focused funds and how they are propelling the NFT gaming industry, as well as Axie’s recent growth and the launch of $AXS staking.
Mega Star Joins Bored Ape Yacht Club
Jamie Vernon, the photographer and producer of The Joe Rogan Experience, was the latest celebrity to join the Bored Ape Yacht Club. Naturally, the community got pretty excited, and BAYC was even featured on The Joe Rogan Podcast!

NY Times Features TikTok Joining NFTs
An NFT community member posted this snapshot of NY Times featuring the launch of TikTok NFTs. Now that’s massive! In fact, TikTok NFTs are all the rage amongst media outlets right now, with Rolling Stone magazine and New York Post reporting on this huge move from a social media giant into NFTs.

CryptoArtist Wong Makes It on Vogue Once Again
Shavonne Wong, one of the two artists to design the first-ever NFT covers for Vogue Singapore, was once again featured in the luxury and fashion lifestyle magazine. In the interview with Vogue Singapore, she discusses how she got into NFTs, her journey as a creative, and how she transitioned to 3D design and NFTs. Wong’s work has previously been featured in other newspapers and magazines in Singapore.

Master Art Forger Featured on ArtNet
The painter Wolfgang Beltracchi, who is notorious for being one of the best art forgers of all time, has decided to join the NFT community after being rejected from the traditional art world. Leading art publication, ArtNet, reported on his grand entrance into NFT land. According to the article, Beltracchi was attracted to the NFT market because it “offers artists a platform to market themselves independently and makes them independent from traditional art market mechanisms.”
