Luxury fashion and lifestyle magazine, Vogue, has released the first-ever NFT cover for the September issue of Vogue Singapore. Historically September is the biggest and most important issue of the year. There will be two NFT covers by different artists. The magazine does not have a print cover but comes with a QR code which buyers need to scan in order to see the NFTs.
The two NFT covers are called “The RenaiXance Rising” and “Triumphant Awakening” and are part of the global theme of ‘New Beginnings’ for September, which explores the creative renaissance born out of digital innovation.

The “RenaiXance Rising” NFT was created by artist and photographer Shavonne Wong and digital fashion house The Fabricant. This programmable NFT changes in posture and lighting according to the live time in Singapore. Shavonne is well-known in the space for her 3D virtual model NFTs, and her work has previously been featured in Vogue Singapore.
“Triumphant Awakening” was designed by 3D artist Chad Knight in collaboration with Singapore design studio Baëlf Design, who created the AI-generated fractal headpiece. Both NFTs will be available for purchase as 1-of-1 editions at the end of the month. Fans will be able to buy either the cover only or buy the issue.
