There are always unexpected things happening in the NFT space. A new project called Cool Cats just made $5M in sales in the last 7 days and is currently in the top 4 collectibles for this week. People are starting to get more bullish about the NFT space, and a big reason for it is Axie Infinity.
Big Sales of the Week
–CryptoPunk #6297 for $1.17M
–CryptoPunk #1886 for $1.06M
–Wave 2 / Summer Jam Sale – 24×24 Estate XL [12,156] for $863k

A General Overview on the Markets
So the markets, in general, have been more bullish this last week. But let’s cover really quick how Axie Infinity has been doing. It recently crossed $116.3M in sales that just happened in the last 7 days. With an all-time of $292M in sales (according to CryptoSlam), that means that almost 40% of its total sales just happened in the last 7 days, pretty crazy. There have also been multiple estates and Mystic Axies sales for higher 6 figures. Even its native cryptocurrency was up 120% in the last 7 days.
This implies an interesting future trend on different crypto games with incentives like Axie Infinity. It would be interesting to see how this develops in the upcoming years.
