Gas has been crazy for a while, and OpenSea is still one of the biggest ETH burners.

Axie Infinity made $204M in sales with a total of 118k buyers who transacted 466k times – a 7.31% decrease from last week.

Art Blocks made $61.5M in sales with a total of 2,441 buyers who transacted 6,746 times – a 33% increase in sales volume from last week.

Parallel Alpha made $38.2M in sales with a total of 2,577 buyers who transacted 10k times – a 369% increase in sales volume from last week.

Pudgy Penguins made $31.9M in sales with a total of 1,726 buyers who transacted 3,236 times – a 2.71% decrease in sales volume from last week.

The biggest NFT markets or marketplaces where you can buy technically any NFT standard on the Ethereum network are OpenSea and Rarible.

OpenSea made $405M in sales with 86k buyers, almost a 15% decrease in sales volume from last week.

Rarible made $5.1M in sales with 3,315 buyers, a 28% increase in sales volume from last week.

CryptoArt sales are rapidly bouncing up. So let’s quickly break it down:

  • June sold $16.18M
  • July has sold $20.9M
  • August has sold $26.09M

Art sales are now stronger than ever, and with the SuperRare token launch, people can get exposure to 1/1 of art and the CryptoArt industry without buying specific pieces.

Summary

Markets seem to be heating up a bit, but Christie’s has some auctions in the upcoming month, so that could be an interesting catalyst. Let’s see what happens.
