United States Space Force Launches Satellite NFTs

The United States Space Force must have a lot of time on its hands, what with the shortage of extra-terrestrial invasions right now. Thankfully, they have a new hobby in making NFTs.

On June 16th ET Space Force will launch a GPS III satellite in honour of everybody’s favourite astronaut, Neil Armstrong. In conjunction with this historic event, the USSF will deploy a set of satellite-themed NFTs for you to collect. The unimaginatively titled “Armstrong Satellite NFT Launch with Space Force” will be available at the time of launch.

The NFT collection includes a digital scale replica of the satellite and a ground-breaking 3D NFT depicting the 30-plus satellites currently in orbit and forming a GPS constellation around the Earth. Additionally, prior to the launch and available now, the satellite is available in multiplayer space exploration game “Star Atlas”.

The NFTs were developed in collaboration with WorldwideXR and VueXR and feature interactive augmented reality. These two companies have a reputation for creating immersive, experiential content for consumers. Users will also be able to access the assets via the VueXR app.

The launch will occur at 5PM ET on June 16th, so get yourself prepped and ready for some Space Force memorabilia. If you’re that way inclined.
