Purveyor of fine playing cards, Playing Arts, has recently ventured onto the crypto playground, with a fine set of token-based gambling rectangles. 55 fine-art based designs have landed on the blockchain.
Playing Arts has been in the playing card game since 2012, creating high-quality decks for gaming connoisseurs. Now however, seeing a perfect opportunity in NFT collectibles, they have released their first set of blockchain assets. To this end, 7830 artistic collectibles were dropped in the NFT sphere.
The collection was released in the guise of a blind drop, selling for 0.13 ETH in packs of 2 cards each. The collection sees 54 cards, decorated with fine works by some of the finest digital artists around, with a 55th artwork adorning the rear of each playing card.
The collection was released on August 19 and sold out completely in under an hour. Collectors however, can now purchase Playing Arts cards on the OpenSea secondary market. But, with a floor price of 0.2 ETH, the cost of these collectibles is rising fast.
