Ozuna, the multi-award winning Puerto Rican singer and songwriter, is releasing an NFT collection today, May 28th on Rarible. Ozuna is one of the world’s most popular singers and Latin Grammy award-winner, and made history earlier this year by becoming the first Latin Recording Artist to drop an NFT collection.
This time round, his latest NFT creations are in collaboration with renowned French sculptor and visual neo-pop artist Richard Orlinski, and facilitated by Zytara Labs. The collection dubbed ‘El Oso & Wild Kong’—is inspired by Orlinski’s art work, most notably his iconic sculpture the Wild Kong, and Ozuna’s famous Teddy Bear logo
El Oso & Wild Kong will include a total of 5 pieces which will be available in limited quantities with one piece for auction, and the other 3 available at fixed prices. The 5 NFTs are titled Voiture (500 editions), Trophée (100 editions), Portorico Calin (100 editions), Stadium (50 editions), and No Man’sMans Land (a 1 out of 1 edition for auction). The drop will also include original prints and sculptures by Richard Orlinski
Both Ozuna and Orlinksi are excited to be releasing this incredible project together, and believe that blockchain technology acts as a bridge between many different types of artistic forms and as a way to make art accessible to more people.
Ozuna shared, “I’ve always had a huge appreciation for art. To now be able to collaborate with such a well respected artist like Orlinski is a thrill and an inspiration. Working together and bringing people our collaboration directly and uniquely, we will continue pushing boundaries together and making art accessible.”
