According to Etherscan transactions, Gala Games has just moved 2B $Gala ($57.9 million) into the Gala Fund, and they are giving away a $10k development grant from this fund. Game developers can now submit a proposal to stand a chance to win the grant.
To enter, developers must provide in-depth information about their game design or concept, as well as link images, videos and other content. The top three game designs/concepts will be selected to receive the $10,000 development grant from Gala Games.
Gala Games was founded with the goal of giving power back to the gamers. The first game released, Town Star, included deep farming simulation in which the user builds a farm to compete in weekly competitions. NFTs could be used in the game to provide bonuses but were not required to play or compete.
Gala Games is developing another game, Mirandus, which will be a roleplay and adventure simulator game. The gameplay model of Mirandus aims to give players ultimate control over the in-game economy. The first playable version is planned to launch by the end of 2021.
