Fans of classical music can now appreciate the finer points of NFT ownership as they soak up their latest dose of high culture.
Venerable music streaming platform, eMusic Live is offering NFTs to attendees of their latest concert. They are offering ticket bundles for the digital premier of Nico Muhly’s violin concerto “Shrink”. The enhanced ticket package will include a signed digital album cover, plus a discount coupon with each purchase. And all this, for just a single extra dollar.
The screening sees the epic composition as performed by violin virtuoso Pekka Kuusisto and the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra. The concert itself was filmed back in March 2019, however, eMusic Live’s screening marks the full digital premier of the event. In celebration of this, a limited number of 150 NFTs are available, with the digital assets powered by gas friendly protocol, Polygon.
eMusic Live has organized six screenings of the concert, taking place on Thursday, August 26 and Friday, August 27. Tickets are available directly from eMusic Live at $5 for general admission, or $6 including the bonus material. In addition to the NFT, this bonus package includes a 25% discount coupon for the physical album.
