Today it was announced that the Decentraland Marketplace app is to be added to the new Samsung Blockchain Wallet. This means that users of all Samsung Blockchain mobile phones, including some of the new Galaxy range, can now safely trade and store Decentraland NFTs.
Samsung has clearly recognised the innovation and value that NFTs are bringing to a forever evolving gaming market, and it will now roll out its support of Decentraland on their blockchain phones, further building on the interest already shown from mobile phone manufacturer HTC.
This is encouraging news, not only for Decentraland, but for the NFT industry as a whole.
The fact that Samsung has been ahead of the curve when it comes to technological advancements over recent years, yet surprisingly has very little to offer by way of gaming when compared with its closest competitors, could mean that the stars are aligned for a perfect relationship which would see both company, and industry, marry well.
Following the announcement, Decentralands MANA token spiked today as investors quickly clambered over themselves to get in on the good news.

As exposure to NFTs grows amongst mobile users, the hope is now that where Samsung has led, others will follow. Decentraland, and the NFT industry as a whole, is hugely undervalued. It seems like it will only be a matter of time until it starts to catch the attention of other tech giants, who will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on progress.
