How did you find out about Decentraland?

Toxsam: Long story short, a random guy appeared in the building I work at, and explained it to me over a coffee break.

What first attracted you to Decentraland?
Toxsam: The art style featured in DCL was very similar to what we create, experimental lowpoly, so I thought it was a good fit for us.

What do you consider to be the biggest selling points for Decentraland?
Toxsam: Aside all the decentralized Metaverse perks the project has itself, I think DCL stands our for aiming for web, then mobile with an stylized look.

What is Polygonal Mind?
Toxsam: Game development studio, creating beautifully handcrafted solutions for the client/user and not for ourselves.

Why did you start Polygonal Mind?
Toxsam: I started it with a friend, in 2015 we wanted to create games on our own, but didn’t worked out for us, so the project shifted into an art-outsoucing studio for indie developers. Today we’re close to finish our first game 🙂

What are you currently working on?
Toxsam: Too many to really tell, we’ve developed more than 750 LAND, so far
Tomb Chaser ,Transit Sytem at the south of DCL, Art Stations towers, Sometimes a Thousand Twangling Instruments SaTTi) A very cool looking park (heads up for this one) 🙂 Our own HQ And a couple of still secret projects.

What goals do you have for your Decentraland creations?
Toxsam: I want people to visit them! The team invest a lot of their time designing and crafting this places so they look cool enough to explore, adding a lot of detail. I love the fact that we’re building a few corners of the Metaverse. I want to keep doing it, there are so many ideas we wanna try.

What exciting things should we look out for from you in the coming months?
Toxsam: We’ll be doing very cool updates on Tomb Chaser, the final release of our 100 avatars as opensource, and we’ll be releasing our mobile game Yeti Rush.

Where do you hope to see Polygonal Mind in 2 years time?
Toxsam: I want to keep growing the studio while building the metaverse. So let’s see how much we can grow and build until then 🙂

Will Decentraland become the lively metaverse we are all hoping for?

Toxsam: I believe Decentraland, in time, will be one of the most populated and interesting layers of the metaverse.

DCL Plazas would like to thank Polygonal Mind for the vital role the studio has played in becoming a leader in the creation and design of this marvelous metaverse, which is about to open to the public in only 7 days time. Wishing the whole team the best of luck in the future, and a long and prosperous time building out Decentraland.
