One of the biggest physical NFT art exhibitions is coming to life later this June – Japan’s very own CrypTOKYO. This will be the first-ever NFT gallery show in Japan making history in this new and booming culture of digital art.
The exhibition will run for three weeks from Saturday, June 26th and will include special event days with artist talks, NFT talks, and new NFT art to be unveiled. Visitors will be able to view not only rare artworks but also purchase some of the most sough-after pieces and learn how to build an NFT portfolio.
The multi-sensory exhibit will feature art from some of Japan’s most notable artists as well as international icons with headlining artists: Yasumasa Yonehara, A Love Movement, Ichi Hatano, Beeple, Robness, Cyberpop, Botchy-Botchy and Maxim.
The show is designed to tell the history of NFTs from its simple beginnings as flashy GIFs, through the trash art and vapourwave movements, to the 3D and concept styles now sweeping the community. Visitors will be able to view rare artwork, purchase sought-after pieces, and learn how to successfully build their NFT portfolios.
