ConsenSys, a leading Ethereum blockchain software company, has launched its brand new headquarters in Decentraland.
The company has been exploring ways to keep its tight-knit and social community engaged, and since in-person meetings are not possible right now, they decided to hop off Slack and start meeting up in the metaverse. The stunning ten parcel ConsenSys building will be used for virtual events and showcasing the company’s work in the Ethereum ecosystem.

The team at ConsenSys was initially just looking for a way to host an event in Decentraland, but after a Zoom call with a Decentraland employee, they decided to go all-in and build their own space.
Decentraland hired VoxelArchitects to design the ConsenSys building. VoxelArchitects are a group of artists passionate about virtual art, virtual reality, and blockchain technology. They have previously worked on some complex architecture structures in the metaverse, and their portfolio includes projects such as a CryptoMotors showroom, a 12-meter fridge to display art NFTs, and a Roman amphitheater.
ConsenSys will use the new headquarters to carry on building their community, meet for virtual drinks, host talks, NFT exhibits, and team and client meetings.
