Dave Court, a multi-disciplinary artist from Adelaide, Australia, is currently holding a solo exhibition of his NFT collection “House Party.” The NFTs feature an ordinary brick home which he painted in a symphony of bright colours and captured on camera, before the house was bulldozed last year.
“It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and then the opportunity came up to paint a house last year and then I combined that with other things I was working on in the studio and it came to fruition in this exhibition,” he said.
Even though the real life artworks don’t exist anymore, Court has captured them forever through his NFT collection. The digital works feature augmented and virtual reality which recreate the original home. Check out a sneak preview of one of his masterpieces below.
The exhibition is taking place at Floating Goose Studios and Praxis Artspace until July 23. Praxis Artspace director Patty Chehade, believes that digital art is offering the type of art experience that many people want right now and that the future for this medium of art is looking bright as more gallerists navigate the space.
Court’s full House Party collection consisting of 8 NFTs is on Hic Et Nunc.
